Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery
Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery

The first is Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery. In this surgery, the surgeon makes a small pouch at the top of your stomach where it will be used to receive foods. It will significantly limit what you can eat & drink at one time. So, you will feel satisfied faster. However, the nutrients & calories absorbed will be fewer. Therefore, after you take this weight loss surgery, you have to eat healthy foods and drink healthy beverages that contain high nutrients.

Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding

The second type is laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding. Different from the first type, this surgery requires placing a band that contains an inflatable balloon around the upper stomach. It can create a small stomach pouch above the band. The effect is also same as the first type of surgery where you will feel satisfied sooner. The difference is that this surgery will not reduce the nutrients and calories absorption. However, you still need to maintain your body including related to the eating portion and menu.

Sleeve Gastrectomy Surgery

The next type is sleeve gastrectomy surgery. In this weight loss diet surgery, a part of your stomach will be separated and the removed from your body. Then, the remaining part is formed into a small tube-like structure. Because you have a smaller stomach, you cannot eat too much. So, the appetite hormone is less so that it reduces your desire in eating. However, it will also not affect the absorption of nutrients and calories in your intestines, like laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding.
